Jewish
Family Jam
A
weekly musical experience for babies and toddlers, ages
0-3, and their parents and caregivers.
Sponsored
by Jewish Family Services of Western Massachusetts, this
group offers a safe place to play, sing, rock, roll,
shmooze and learn songs about Jewish holidays, values
and culture. Familiarity
with Hebrew is not necessary- only a desire to have fun
and jam! Taught
by artist and cantorial soloist Felicia Sloin, who has
gone through the Music Together training program and is
the mother of a toddler.
Wednesdays
from 10:30-11:15am at the Lander Grinspoon Academy
257 Prospect Street
in Northampton, MA.

more information, please call Jewish
Family Services- (413) 737-2601.

“For each Jewish holiday, Felicia weaves
songs, stories and information about the holiday into
the class, and gives us ideas about how to involve our
very young children. She has taught us Jewish
lullabies and daily rituals, introduced us to Jewish
songs and music albums for children, as well as Jewish
themed books to read to our kids. We learn songs
that we can bring home with us and sing throughout the
week.”
“Felicia is an amazing facilitator,
singer, musician, performer, teacher and friend.
She brings an exuberance and passion to the class that
permeates every session. She makes everyone feel
completely welcome – whether you show up halfway
through the class or your kid is having a meltdown.
Felicia brings a first-hand understanding of what
parents of young children face in their everyday lives
and makes this time and space conform to them.”
