Felicia's Biography
Felicia
Sloin is a Cantorial Soloist, Singer/Songwriter and Jewish
“Entertain-ucator” who utilizes music, puppets, rhythm, rap and
ritual to inspire Jews of all ages to celebrate their culture and
community. Felicia
has served as a Cantorial Soloist and Educator at Kehilla Community
Synagogue in Berkeley, CA, Temple Beth Avodah in Newton, MA, and
Temple Beit Ahavah in Northampton, MA. She has performed nationwide as
a solo artist, and with the highly acclaimed Jewish women’s singing
group Vocolot.
In 2005, she was a featured soloist at the United States
Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. A passionate singer and performer, Felicia shares her unique talents with people of all ages. She offers a variety of classes, workshops, services and performances. In June of 2009, she completed a Music Together teacher training and looks forward to offering Jewish music classes for infants, toddlers and their caregivers. Additionally, she leads singing groups for adults and children and enlivens Shabbat and holiday events with concerts, puppet shows, raps and family sing-a-longs. Felicia has a diverse repertoire of original Jewish and sacred music, and is always looking to create new and exciting ways to open the hearts and minds of her audiences. Felicia’s
